Hello and welcome to my website! My name is Billy Ashbaugh and I've been a professional touring drummer for nearly 40 years.

    I've had the privilege of touring with such artist as ‘NSYNC, Pat Benatar, The Moody Blues, John Lodge, Alan Hewitt & One Nation, Snap! and Brian Littrell (BackStreet Boys).

                                          

    I have also been fortunate enough to have recorded/performed with Martina McBride, Tim McGraw, Robby Steinhardt (Kansas) Gloria Estefan, Britney Spears, Richard Marx, Christopher Cross, Alex Boye’, Joey Fatone, Greg Howe, Samantha Mumba and Hedras Ramos.

  In March 2021, I began my journey as a contributing writer for Modern Drummer Magazine Publications.

​

  In August 2001, Warner Bros. released my first drumming DVD entitled "Taking Care of Business". It features my performances of several 'NSYNC songs as well as some original music composed by Bob Gatzen. The DVD also contains drumless mixes for all of the songs so you can play along at home.

   I've been teaching for over 35 years and now offer exclusive one on one online lessons.  Take your drumming to the next level. All you need is a good internet connection to get started.

  I'm now offering remote drum tracks from my home studio. It's now easy and affordable to get your own personalized drum tracks for your music.
